18 Orange - 2018 Nike President's Day Tournament Champions
Club Momentum offers three club volleyball programs: Momentum offers Club teams and High Performance teams and the brand new, Revolution Elite.
Club Volleyball (U12-U16s)
Club Momentum’s Club volleyball teams begin practice the first week of November and run through April. Teams will practice for two hours, twice a week. Teams will play between 10-12 tournament dates including Power League and one multi-day travel event. Players focus on position cross-training (learning to play more than one position), learning offensive and defensive systems and in-match strategy to best prepare them for high school tryouts.
High Performance (U13-U18s)
Club Momentum’s High Performance volleyball teams will begin practices the first week of November and run through May. Teams will practice for two hours, three times per week through February, and shift to twice a week for the remainder of their season. Teams will play between 12-15 tournament dates including Power League and two multi-day events. High Performance players focus on specific position training, executing offensive and defensive systems, and skills/strategy that require higher degrees of execution to better prepare them for the next level of their volleyball career, whatever that may be.
Revolution Elite (U14-18s)
Revolution Elite is a new invite-only volleyball program for athletes in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Our program is only for athletes who are looking to play volleyball at a high level. Only one team is fielded at every age level. Coaches are dedicated to the program and have the experience necessary to take your athlete to the next level
Teams practices three times per week, at a minimum of seven hours. Training, mental toughness, and plyometric workouts are included. Teams will attend AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida or USAV Nationals
For more information on Revolution Elite, contact Tanner Morris at email@example.com or 310-593-1310.
Club Momentum Volleyball was established in 2011 to further establish, enhance and promote indoor and outdoor volleyball among student athletes. Club Momentum Volleyball mission statement is, “To establish and nurture the seeds of leadership and inspire teamwork leading to success both on and off the court.”
Our athletes compete in the USAV Great Lakes Region. Our practice atmosphere is designed to teach proper volleyball skill execution, incorporating cardiovascular and plyometric fitness. In addition to our club teams, we offer skill- and position-specific training and private lessons to athletes inside and outside of the organization.
Our volleyball club’s mission is to not only create a successful Junior Olympic program, but also provide personal development opportunities to our athletes. Beyond developing and improving their volleyball abilities, we hope to instill in our athletes our core values:
