Please be dropped off at the front door as close to your session time as possible
You must socially distance outside the facility prior to entry
Temperatures are taken by coaches before you can enter the facility
A mask must be worn at all times.
Momentum coaches will sanitize volleyballs in between each session
Bring a large water bottle to avoid using the communal drinking fountain - we have asked Berto to have them shut off
Be symptom free for at least 14 days prior to any activity - if you have a symptom of COVID-19, you must stay home until the symptom has cleared
Refrain from contacting other participants and attendees (high fives and huddles)
Practice social distancing as often as possible
Bring hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes
Monitor your health and report any symptoms after every activity
All coaches and Momentum staff will wear masks 100% of the time
Wash and sanitize all gear, uniforms and apparel used during the activity
If you have symptoms, you must be tested and alert Coach Matt immediately
For the safety of everyone involved, parents are not allowed inside the facility at any time (with the exception of injury)
Practices will end 10 minutes early to allow for organized exit from the facility and for coaches to disinfect all equipment
Athletes will be placed into practice groups and will only practice with this small group (practice pod)
Unlike the past, you cannot make up missed practiced at another time - you must remain with your practice pod
If you travel to a state or location included by the City of Chicago in the Emergency Travel Order, you must self-quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to practice
If an athlete from a pod is diagnosed with COVID-19, all practices will be suspended for 14 days - if this occurs, a refund for this time will be issued
There will be a decrease in official tournament opportunities, and we have eliminated all of the travel events from our schedule
In November and December we will hold inter-program competitions which are currently allowed under Illinois law - logistics on this will be announced following tryouts
We plan to return to Power League and local tournaments in January and February, assuming it is safe and approved to do so
If the effects of COVID-19 have lessened following the IHSA season, we will consider adding back travel events, such as AAU Nationals in Orlando, but that decision will not be made until closer to the date
